I am always keen to support charities and good causes in different ways and have performed at, hosted and organised fundraising events, made regular donations and even volunteered for a few charities important to me. I have also taken part in a few long-term projects and if you too would like to support any of these causes then scroll down for more information about how you can get involved.

British Lung Foundation
I am passionate about raising awareness of IPF, a common but incurable lung disease. Since starting “The Joan Cumming Breath of Life Fund” in memory of my Nan, we have raised over £1,200 for clinical research and support for patients with IPF. NSPCC
NSPCC Childline is there to give young people a voice when no one else is listening and whatever problems or dangers they’re facing, Childline provides a place for them to turn to for support any time of day or night. As part of Childline’s 35th anniversary I started the first Drive Aid campaign to help towards NSPCC’s fundraising target of £30,000 to cover the cost of running Childline for a day. Every 25 seconds a vulnerable child calls Childline, click here to help make sure there’s always someone to answer the call.
Cool To Be Kind
Nobody should have to sleep on the streets but for those who do, the simplest things can make a difference. The Rucksack Project is an initiative to collect and distribute essential items to rough sleepers and homeless people. Other Organisations
Other good causes I have supported and/or worked with include; Macmillan Cancer Support, Oxfam, Samaritans, Cancer Research UK, Shelter, British Lung Foundation, Cool To Be Kind, NSPCC, Mind
